Welcome to Brandi Rae's School of Dance! We are conveniently located at 116 Cochituate Road (Rt 30), Framingham, Massachusetts near the intersection of Route 30 & Route 126 and easily accessible from Route 9.
Dance class offerings include Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Pointe, Hip Hop, Modern, Lyrical, Creative Movement, Preschool Classes & More!
All Ages from 2 Years through Adult & All Levels from Beginner to Advanced are welcome! Class Registration is ongoing throughout the year.
Our goal is to provide a positive, educational, enlightening and fun dance experience. Whether or not one wishes to pursue a professional career, correct dance training is a valuable asset that cannot be equaled. We know you have a choice of dance schools and we want you to feel confident that we will continue to strive to meet all of your needs. Our customer is always our number one priority.
Brandi Rae's School of Dance was voted #1 Dance School in Framingham in 2006 & 2007 by the Readers Choice Awards. In 2008 & 2009, the school was awarded Bronze for Regional Favorites and also received Honorable Mention in Framingham for Dance/Gymnastics Schools in 2008 and #1 Dance School in 2009.
The dance school was formerly known as "The School of Dance Arts" and was previously owned and directed by Paula Scardino for 33 years. Brandi Rae Lochiatto took over as owner and director in 2003, changing the school name.

Students from all over the Metrowest have attended classes at our studio. Some towns include, but are not limited to Saxonville, Wayland, Sudbury, Natick, Holliston, Southboro, Northboro, Marlboro, Ashland, Newton & Maynard.
"Just Dance! Dance Company", a student organized dance company established in 2007, is sponsored by Brandi Rae's School of Dance. For information on this company, please go to their first website, justdancedance.tripod.com. Their new website, www.justdancedanceco.com is being updated at this time.
Faculty
BRANDI RAE LOCHIATTO, DIRECTOR - Brandi graduated from UMass Amherst in 1992 with a BFA in Dance. She has taught, choreographed and performed throughout Massachusetts for dance studios, dance companies, public and private schools, non-profit organization, camps, musicals, competitions, community theatres, college cheerleading squads and daycare centers. She's been a member of "Moving West Repertory Dance Theatre" since 1992 and performed with them in Spring 2010 at the "Performing Arts Center of MetroWest", where she has been a Staff Member, Musical Choreographer, Assistant Director and School Director. This is Brandi's 21st year teaching and this is her 9th year as director of Brandi Rae's School of Dance. "Dance is and has always been her love, her passion, and her true joy."
Joni Rose Lebov - is a former student of Paula Scardino and has been teaching at the studio for over 20 years. She is a Dance Major graduate of the Boston Conservatory and danced professionally for 4 years in a Show Band traveling New England. Joni was an actress with The Casting Co. in Boston, a promotional model for many products at trade shows and conventions in Boston, and a judge for the Star Model and Talent Pageant. Her most recent specialty is to bring dance and music to senior adults. She also works on the fitness staff at Gold’s Gym and teaches dance and fitness for Weston Recreation.
Jennifer Weeks - is a former student of Paula Scardino and has been teaching at the studio since 2001. She was a dance major at Dean College and received her degree in 2003. Jennifer also teaches at multiple studios in and around the MetroWest area including the YMCA, where she has also choreographed routines for the Gymnastics Summer Camp shows. She has started Creative Movement classes in many daycares and nursery schools as well as doing dancing birthday parties. Last year Jennifer choreographed the Ashland High School Jr. Prom Grand March and choreographed for private party events. She is also a member of the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and attends annual meetings, where she continues to learn new material!
Allison Cummings - was a former student for 13 years at The School of Dance Arts. She studied ballet, tap, jazz and pointe, taught pre-school ballet, and choreographed and performed hip-hop routines. She graduated in 2005 with a B.S. in Mathematics from UMass Amherst where she continued her studies in ballet and jazz. Allison has performed in hip-hop talent shows and has taught jazz/hip-hop at the Performing Arts Center and through the Winter Scene program at Hemingway Elementary School in Framingham. She also performs and choreographs for the non-profit arts organization, Stylized Movement, of which she is a board member. She has been teaching at “Brandi Rae's School of Dance” since 2005 and also teaches at Center Stage in Hudson
Laura Grundstrom - has a degree from Franklin Pierce College in social work and a minor in dance. Laura is a certified YogaKids teacher and trainer and has taught children in many different capacities for the past twelve years. She began teaching in the special needs field with Autistic children and then became a preschool teacher. Laura has taught dance at a variety of places throughout the years and presented dance to children at the Scalzi School of Dance and the YMCA in Waltham. Laura also teaches yoga to children at Your Element Yoga. Kids love to move and Laura loves to offer them unique opportunities to get creative as they explore the space around them. She is glad to be rejoining the teaching staff at Brandi Rae’s School of Dance.
