Director, Brandi Rae Lochiatto graduated in 1992 with a BFA in Dance from UMASS Amherst where she also taught non-major dance classes for the Performing Arts Division. She has taught and choreographed throughout Massachusetts for multiple dance studios; public, private and performing arts schools; non-profit organizations; camps and daycare centers; universities; fundraising events; and dance companies. She has performed and toured in New England with several dance companies and was a member of “Moving West Repertory Dance Theatre” for over 20 yrs. Brandi is proud to announce that two of her previous graduates are continuing their studies in dance in college: Ariana Goyette who just completed her 3rd year at Dean College & Gina Ray who just completed her 2nd year at Hofstra University. Her heart is heavy as this is now the 2nd year her beloved Dad will not be in attendance since his passing in Fall 2014, but knows he is sure to be there in spirit and will be cheering everyone on!

Joni Rose Lebov is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory-Dance Major. She danced professionally for four years in a Show Band traveling New England. Joni was an actress with The Casting Co. in Boston, also a promotional model for trade shows and conventions. She was a judge for the Star Model and Talent Pageant. Her most recent specialty is to bring dance and music to senior adults. Joni has a cable show, “Dance Time!” with WACA-TV.

Allison Cummings was a former student for 13 years at The School of Dance Arts. She studied ballet, tap, jazz and pointe, taught pre-school ballet, and choreographed and performed hip-hop routines. She graduated in 2005 with a B.S. in Mathematics from UMass Amherst where she continued her studies in ballet and jazz. Sue Karloff graduated Cum Laude from UMASS Amherst in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Psychology. She taught dance at UMASS and developed and choreographed the dance group “Jazz Hot”. She has taught at many local dance studios: Metrowest Ballet, Dancer's Workshop, Dance It Up and Whimzaria. With over 30 years of experience, she has taught the art of dance to students 2 ½-18 yrs old. She receives special joy helping the youngest students build their dance skills through Creative Movement, Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop. Sue's #1 objective is to provide a nurturing environment for her students.

Shalini Jayarama began her dance training at the age of 3 in Bharathanatyam, a classical Indian dance form. She continued her training under various Gurus and has performed in solo and group presentations at various local, regional, and celebratory events, exploring Indian dance forms, including classical, folk, dance drama, and Bollywood fusion, as well as hip hop and modern. She enjoys combining elements from different styles to choreograph tight, versatile routines that emphasize energy, passion, and stage presence, and she focuses on incorporating technique, innate grace, and appreciation for the art into all dance expression. A challenge is good.
